Electrolytic aluminum plant

At present, the country has not been allowed to build the graphite anode method of caustic soda project. Ion-exchange membrane caustic soda accounts for about 17% of the current caustic soda production. Ion-exchange membrane caustic soda can save electricity by 1/3, with high concentration of finished products, less capital construction area, no pollution and good economic benefits, so all enterprises have high enthusiasm for transforming into ionic membrane method. In the period of "fifteen", if 5% is sought every year, 100 thousand kW of electrolytic salt DC power supply is needed every year.

Electric arc furnace power supply

Iron and steel industry will vigorously promote the EAF ladle refining furnace continuous casting and continuous rolling process. The proportion of EAF steel will reach 32% in 2003, which will add 13 million 200 thousand tons of EAF steel. 60% of them use a direct arc furnace, and 22 100 tons of DC furnace will be needed annually. A 440 thousand kW DC power supply is required per year.

Medium frequency power supply

At present, the annual output is about 1000 units (half of the industry and the electric furnace industry), with an average of 250kW per unit of power.

Frequency converter

The market of frequency converter is very big. In recent years, the year of frequency converter sales in the Chinese market has increased by 15%, and the average sales per year is 1 billion yuan RMB. At present, 95% of the inverter and imported goods, 5% of the domestic inverter is also assembled with imported devices.

Electrostatic precipitator

The main product of high voltage rectifying power supply is electric dust removal device. It can be used in power plant, cement plant, iron and steel plant and chemical plant.

Variable flow device for urban rail transit vehicle

At present, 15 cities have applied for the construction of subway and light rail road for approval. The total length of the line is 350km, and 40-70km subway or light rail should be built every year. For 10-15 vehicles per kilometre, 400-1050 vehicles are required each year, and 2 2-3kA/2.5-4.5kVGTO devices are required for each car. According to the establishment of a traction substation per 2.5km, 16-28 substations are needed each year.

New energy inverter

New energy sources include wind power, solar power, and fuel cell power generation, and the most mature are wind power. Due to the intermittence of wind power, it is usually complementary to solar power or diesel power generation, and is equipped with battery group and sent to power grid through inverter.

According to the demand of power electronic devices and application fields, the demand for the main power electronic devices is predicted as follows: the national "fifteen" development focus is taken into account.

IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) is the core device of the current power electronics development. Its potential indicates that its demand is developing at an annual rate of 30-40%. During the period of "fifteen", there is 4 billion RMB market capacity. IGBT devices are widely used abroad, so the foreign market will be far greater than the domestic demand. In the total demand, the high voltage IGBT is mainly used in the frequency conversion speed regulation of electric locomotive and urban light rail vehicle and large motor during the "fifteen" period, and the annual demand for small HVDC is about 5000.

The high power high voltage thyristor and rectifying tube are developing in two directions, one is medium and low capacity modularization, and the growth rate is 10-15%, and the annual demand is 150 thousand. In addition, the high-power high-voltage thyristor will be used for the excitation and control of HVDC large motor, and the annual growth rate of the "fifteen" period is about 20%. The annual growth rate of the thyristor of 4000V or 2000A is 15000.

GTO (shut-off thyristor), because of the development demand of traction field, especially urban light rail vehicle, the annual demand is about 1000. With the development of high voltage IGBT, GTO will be gradually replaced.
